Radio Telescopes SETI
By Jack Roth 20 Jul, 2021
Is the SETI Institute wasting its time looking “out there” for extraterrestrial radio signals when they have been “here,” interacting with us in various ways, for decades … and possibly even millennia?

One of the most compelling books ever written regarding human-alien hybridization is Raechel’s Eyes , by Helen Littrell and Jean Bilodeaux. The story begins in 1956, when a UFO crash-landed in the Nevada desert. The book describes how an Air Force officer befriended Raechel—a hybrid female child survivor of the crash. He, for all intents and purposes, raised Raechel in an underground base in Nevada and subsequently put into motion an experiment authorized by the National Security Council through the Air Force’s Aerospace Technical Information Command, in which he adopted her, then enrolled her at a northern California community college in the early 1970s. The goal of the experiment was to see if Raechel could co-exist among humans and actually live a normal life. During her brief time in college, Raechel roomed with the author’s (Littrell) blind daughter (Marisa). Strange events followed, and ultimately the experiment failed. Part of the reason for this was Raechel’s rather odd appearance. Petite and frail, she wore large sunglasses and a scarf on her head to hide her strange features. Her skin was also “different,” which is why she always wore a long-sleeve jumpsuit that covered her entire body. She also had an odd inflection and ate a strange diet delivered to the apartment by men in black suits. Not exactly the recipe for “fitting in.” The story is reconstructed from Littrell’s memory and information that was subsequently transmitted to her by the Air Force officer. Raechel was never seen again after leaving college rather abruptly one day, but not before imparting a special gift to her only friend, Marisa, who died in 1990 due to complications from diabetes. In Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story and the upcoming Extraordinary: The Seeding, j3FILMS is leading viewers on a progressive journey as it relates to UFO phenomena—from strange lights in the sky to extraterrestrial contact/abductions to human-alien hybridization (genetic manipulation) programs. Our goal has been to inform the masses of a phenomenon that is affecting hundreds of thousands of people across the globe and ultimately ask the question, “What if this is true?” One of the things that has happened to us as we’ve gone down this extremely complex rabbit hole is it has given us the ability to come up with intelligent and logical (based on the evidence we’ve uncovered) theories as to the nature of ET contact. Many fascinating discussions have taken place at restaurants, hotel rooms, on conference calls and on location during the filming of our documentaries. Theories abound, but for the sake of this blog post, I want to focus on one I feel might explain the story of Raechel. All technology evolves … constantly being enhanced and made more viable, practical and in some cases, more visually appealing. Think about the first cell phones. They were clunky, heavy and unsightly compared to today’s slick, ultra-light and fashionable smart phones. Same goes for the chunky cathode ray tube televisions of the past, relics that gave way to the much slicker, visually appealing and technically superior LCD and plasma flatscreens. The same evolutional process applies to medical science. Gone are the days of using leeches, tobacco smoke enemas, heroine, shock therapy, morphine syrup and mercury to “cure” certain ills. Today, scientists are using targeted cancer therapy, stem cell therapy, gene therapy and robotics to identify, prevent and treat major illnesses. Was Raechel the equivalent of a cathode ray tube television or morphine syrup? Was she an early “result” of human-alien hybridization technology, which in the late 1940s and early 1950s was still being perfected … or yet to be enhanced enough to make hybrids more visually acceptable to humans? Her eyes, skin, strange diet and general awkwardness would certainly suggest this. In recent years, we have spoken to many researchers and experiencers who believe today’s alien-human hybrids are living among us … undetected … as neighbors, co-workers, friends and even family members. The evolution of technology can be a beautiful thing, although in this particular case the ramifications for humanity may not be so beautiful. Through no fault of her own, Raechel couldn’t possibly fit in because she simply wasn’t human enough. Regardless of how much her adopted military father may have cared for her, she was set up to fail because the hybridization technology used to create her wasn’t fine-tuned enough to allow this particular type of experiment to succeed. She may have functioned admirably in an underground military base, but once she was plopped square into the world of humans, she just wasn’t human enough. Sweet Raechel, who according to Littrell never meant harm to anyone, was a guinea pig, a lab rat used by our military and callously disposed of when the mission impossible failed. Of course, this is just one man’s theory based on years of research and a truly fascinating book in Rachael’s Eyes that is required reading for anyone who takes the subject of extraterrestrials and alien abduction seriously. If I could talk to the subject of Raechel’s Eyes today, wherever her energetic essence may reside, I would apologize and ask forgiveness for all of humanity. “I’m so sorry you had to endure what you did,” I would tell her. “Humans can be selfish, egocentric and downright cruel. You didn’t deserve to be treated as an experiment, and I truly hope you’re at peace now.” You can purchase Rachael’s Eyes on Amazon

Team j3FILMS has been extremely busy. How busy? Let’s catch you up … Extraordinary: The Seeding World Premiere was at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) on November 17, 2018. The festival cut allowed us to see the film on the big screen and determine where to make improvements for the final cut. While we only made a few minor tweaks to the video edit after FLIFF, our master composer, Anton Patzner, wanted to “improve” the music “just a tad.” Fresh from a trip to Indonesia, Anton went to work and enhanced the score by creating more than 65 minutes of additional music, textures and sound enrichments. Personally, I think Anton’s tweaks improved the film’s overall message by driving home the emotional impact. When you watch it (more to come on that in a minute!), I strongly suggest you watch wearing headphones to get the full sonic impact. I had seen the film dozens of times prior to the score revision, and when I watched the final master with headphones, it was goosebumps on top of goosebumps. It’s a powerfully moving score. We submitted the final cut to our distributor, The Orchard (now 1091 Media), in December 2018 for review, and the response was extremely positive. Stoked. We earned several awards for the film! First, a Semi-Finalist Award from the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards. Then we were selected for the juried competition at the Pasadena International Film Festival (PIFF), where we were nominated for Best Director and Best Documentary. At PIFF’s Gala Awards ceremony on March 22, 2019, we won Best Documentary ! Extraordinary: The Seeding is under consideration for the Festival de Cannes . We’re on a roll, so why not? We’ll find out if we’ve been selected in the next week or so. In the days before attending PIFF, we were in Miami shooting the first interview for our next documentary project (known as EX3 until we settle on a working title). All we’ll say for now is this: history, religion, ascension, colonization and whistleblower. We’re in the process of scheduling additional interviews throughout the spring with a goal of delivering the third and final film in our series (about abductions, hybridization programs and why it’s happening) in 2020. Okay, okay. So, you really want to know when Extraordinary: The Seeding is being released, right? We’re getting close to that announcement, we promise. But a few things must fall in place first … … like the release of the official trailer! We should have news on the trailer debut within the next few days. Once the trailer launches, the film will also be available for preorder. All details will be provided when the trailer launches. We will schedule a premiere of the trailer on YouTube, and we’ll be online before and after the premier to chat and answer questions. Be on the lookout for the trailer launch announcement. It’s so close we can taste it! Also in the works: A music video featuring the closing credits song The Seed. A lyric version of the song will drop soon and then the official music video will follow the trailer release. Even more exciting news: j3FILMS is creating a Patreon account. This is especially exciting because it will allow us to share shorter stories with our patrons. In the two films already in the can, we captured more than 100 hours of footage—and only 3.5 hours will be in the public domain after the release of Extraordinary: The Seeding. We look forward to sharing more and more info. We also will use Patreon to take contributors inside the filmmaking process by providing live updates when we’re on location, sharing the editing process live as it happens, discussing the nuts and bolts of story development, and walking you through the scoring process through live sessions with our filmmaking team. The intention is to develop an ongoing information portal for anyone curious about the subjects we cover in our films. And our project development list is long! We’re starting EX3 now, but we’re already developing three additional films and have a short list of another five films beyond that. Patreon support will ensure the production of ongoing stories that help bring fascinating subjects out from the shadows and into the mainstream. More details to come when we launch. Like I said up top, we’ve been busy! And we expect to stay that way for years to come, if there’s an audience and an appetite for the stories we want to share.

When so many people reached out to us after watching our first film, Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story , we realized it was mission accomplished. We knew it would be a polarizing film simply because of the subject matter, but as filmmakers, our goal from the beginning was to present the story (and evidence) in an objective manner so viewers could make up their own minds as to whether or not they believed the story to be true. We also wanted to provide the nudge that would compel people to at least consider the possibilities. Do extraterrestrial beings exist? And if they do, are they abducting humans for some kind of experimental purpose? We didn’t make the film for true believers or hard-core skeptics; it was made for those who live somewhere in the middle, in the space where most of us reside – a place where healthy skepticism and childlike curiosity constantly co-mingle. We made it for those who aren’t afraid to ask the questions: Who are we? Why are we here? What don’t we know about the universe that surrounds us? Most importantly, we wanted to tell a story about what it is to be human. Regardless of whether or not you believe in UFOs and/or alien contact, there are tens of thousands of people across the planet who have had UFO-related encounters and been profoundly affected by them. By telling their stories, our hope is that others can be empathetic to their experiences. With the success of the first film, we were asked by The Orchard , our distributor partner in L.A., to create more content. We told them there was more to this story and that we would like to go deeper down the rabbit hole to tell it. Our second film, Extraordinary: The Seeding , is the result of these efforts. The film is a logical progression from where the first one took us, akin to continuing to put the pieces of a complex puzzle together. If aliens do exist and they are abducting humans for experimental reasons, what exactly do these experiments entail and why are they conducting them? Over the years, as we’ve researched these strange phenomena, we’ve come across many individuals who claim to have been abducted by extraterrestrials. In particular, women have come forward and shared what they describe as abductions followed by pregnancies that can’t be explained and that end in strange miscarriages where the fetus simply disappears. In many of these cases, they describe another abduction a few years later during which they are shown their “hybrid” children on board alien craft. Without exception, these women are sincere and credible; they hesitate to come forward with their stories out of fear of being ridiculed and having to relive the nightmare. In all cases, their lives are changed forever. Sometimes relationships are destroyed, as are careers, but many of these courageous individuals manage to come out on the other side stronger and with a keen sense of purpose. And some even become voices for those who are still struggling in silence with the fear and trauma. We, the filmmakers, have become more open-minded and understanding as a result of making this second installment in the Extraordinary series. We originally set out to find as much tangible “evidence” as we could, and while this is most certainly critical when it comes to validating the reality of these strange phenomena, our main goal as filmmakers is to share human experiences. Our true gift in sharing this story is introducing you to the experiencers themselves – the individuals who go to work every day, love their families and otherwise live like the rest of us, but who have been touched by something so extraordinary as to have been profoundly touched by it forever. As Extraordinary: The Seeding gets set to premiere at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) on November 17, 2018 , our hope is that it resonates with viewers like our first film did, and that it also compels them to feel a little more compassion and empathy for the individuals who are trying to cope with their extraordinary experiences.

“ Extraordinary: The Seeding ” premieres at FLIFF’s Savor Cinema on Saturday, November 17, at 8 p.m. Get tickets here . So, we’ve been a tad busy. Let’s get you caught up … Last November, we pitched the idea of a three-part abduction phenomena series to The Orchard , our distribution partner in L.A., to which they replied: Go for it. With Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story as our trilogy lead-off, we set out to go a little deeper with our new venture … Extraordinary: The Seeding . It’s less than a year since that pitch meeting, and we’re now deep into post-production on what we’ve come to refer to as EX2. We traversed Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Northern and Southern California. Two things we learned: We love Airbnb and fried rice. Oh, and coffee. But we learned something even more important along the way: The abduction phenomena is a very personal story that impacts individuals to the core. Emotionally. Physically. Psychologically. Spiritually. While EX1 was one man’s journey, supported by volumes of self-documented evidence and eyewitness testimony, EX2 is a deeper exploration of the human condition and why experiencers deserve our attention and compassion. The men and women who speak on camera run the risk of ridicule, yet each was compelled to share their journeys for the benefit of others—those who are still trying to grasp the concept that we may not be alone in the universe, as well as those who have had a personal experience but are frightened to share it. EX2 will help audiences better understand the phenomena and the struggle. The isolation, the pain and the need for empathy. What made the process of making this film so rewarding for us was the people we interviewed, both the experts … Richard Dolan Marc D’Antonio Alejandro Rojas Chase Kloetzke Barbara Lamb Yvonne Smith Susan Bedell … and the experiencers … April Malloy Geraldine Orozco Rob Fullington Melinda Leslie Dana Sierra Neblina Niara Isley Maren Mastin Jason Friend It has been a fascinating journey for us and our crew. And we can’t wait to share it with you. Future posts will provide additional details about the making of the film, the possibility of additional festivals and release dates for the film on digital platforms. For those who can’t make it to Fort Lauderdale, don’t worry! The film will be available on digital platforms in early 2019.

j3FILMS and The Orchard are proud to announce that extraordinary: the stan romanek story will begin streaming on Netflix Monday, July 3, 2017. j3FILMS would like to heap tons of praise on the distribution team at The Orchard for all their hard work to help us bring this important story to the widest audience possible. Our goal from day one was not to make a film about UFO phenomena but to share a human story that would hopefully allow audiences to get a glimpse into what it’s like to be an experiencer. Stan Romanek’s story is polarizing, and we knew that going in. As you can see by the reviews of the film on Amazon and iTunes , people are either intrigued or they dislike it. We made the film to stimulate conversation among the widest audience possible in effort to move the discussion into the mainstream. Haters gonna hate, and that’s fine. But there’s a reason for negative responses, and getting the good along with the bad out in the open creates an lively discourse, and there is nothing wrong with that either. If you’ve already watched the film, thank you. If you’ve been waiting for it to show up on Netflix, today’s you’re lucky day! We encourage all previous viewers to gather friends and watch the movie again. Once the film is over, ask one simple question to begin an engaging conversation: What if this is all real? If you don’t have Netflix, the film is still available on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Xbox, PlayStation and a variety of other digital platforms. Just click this link to watch the film. A big thank you to everyone who has supported this project and all who desire to keep the conversation going. Cheers!

When Jack Roth brought the idea of a documentary project about this guy in Colorado who had several abduction experiences, I wasn’t exactly champing at the bit to dive in. Seems like yesterday, but it was eight years ago this spring. It didn’t take long to see the intrigue after Jack passed along a rabbit hole of links about Stan Romanek , which led to several phone calls, a handful of Audrey experiences, visits to Loveland, Colorado, and recognition there was a worthy story to be told. While Stan’s evidence was voluminous and jaw-dropping, I was just as fascinated by the emotional story and the struggle to overcome obstacles and constant ridicule. I kept asking myself “Who would willingly choose to be publicly chastised the way Stan is?” He’s just an ordinary guy facing extraordinary circumstances. This human element made Stan’s experiences accessible to everyone, and intensified our desire to reach the widest audience possible. Now we can. After the trials and tribulations associated with Stan’s arrest in 2014, we saw the distribution door slam shut, forcing us into self-distribution mode. Fast forward to January 2017 and The Orchard ‘s passionate desire to exclusively represent the film for global distribution pushed the door wipe open. The journey has been long, challenging, frustrating, disappointing and enlightening. But we never gave up on the goal to reach the widest audience possible. Today, that goal is a possibility with the worldwide launch of extraordinary: the stan romanek story . This film is now available on an expansive list of digital distribution platforms – iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video, XBox, Hulu, VUDU, PlayStation Video, Vimeo and on-demand video from a variety of cable providers. It’s now out there for all to see, if they so choose. We understand this is a polarizing subject, and we know we’ll see our fair share of ridicule, too. We also know the film will open eyes, stimulate conversation and have many people wondering: “What if this is all true?” Click the image below to purchase or rent extraordinary: the stan romanek story .

I first read Behold a Pale Horse by William Cooper about 12 years ago, and I remember having to put it down several times … not because it wasn’t compelling, but because it was too compelling. It forced me to think about such unsettling scenarios that even I — an open-minded journalist who is always searching for the truth —got sick to my stomach considering Cooper’s implications. If he was telling the truth, it would turn reality on its head. History, as we were taught and thought we knew, would become a fairytale — a blatant lie perpetrated by a group of very powerful, malevolent individuals who would go to any lengths to manipulate and control the vast majority of human beings. We’ve all heard about the Illuminati and other secret organizations that are the true power brokers of the world. Conspiracy theories rule the day, as many of us try to figure out why things are so rotten on this planet and how it got this way. And when our leaders fail to use logic and rational thinking to make things better, we start to consider that much more sinister motives might dictate certain political agendas. Yet for the most part, the answer is pretty straightforward. Politics is politics, and most politicians today are simply too beholden to special interest groups to do the right thing anymore. But below this incompetence and general lack of leadership lies something entirely different and more sinister. It’s the idea of a reality so nightmarish that most of us would prefer to bury our heads in the sand then confront it, despite compelling evidence to its existence. After all, wouldn’t you rather watch Dancing with the Stars than think about the possibility that a New World Order actually exists, one in which an elite few rule over the huddled masses? Better to consume yourself with your uninspiring job than consider the possibility that not only are UFOs real, but that the aliens who pilot them are as self-serving as these egomaniacal power brokers. Most people would prefer Hollywood gossip to that harsh reality any day of the week. After all, ignorance is bliss. And then there are the few who have the courage to speak the truth. A government whistleblower, Cooper was a true insider, a former U.S. Intelligence Briefing Team member. In Behold a Pale Horse, he shares information that still remains hidden from both the general public and government officials who don’t have a top-secret clearance level high enough. From government conspiracies to massive cover-ups regarding the JFK assassination, the war on drugs, the shadow government and UFOs, Cooper leaves no stone unturned. He names names and provides specific, detailed information that only an insider would be privy to. What really struck me was how open Cooper was about his own life being in danger. He knew that many of the people and agencies he mentioned in his book wanted him dead, and he also knew it was only a matter of time before they were successful in silencing him. He told his family and friends that he would never commit suicide and that if he was ever found dead with a suicide note next to him, not to believe the official cause of his death. How heroic, I thought, to anger people with the power to end your life so easily. Over the years, Behold a Pale Horse became one of those books that I relegated to my subconscious, not wanting to think about it too much because of its disturbing message. When j3FILMS became involved in the Stan Romanek documentary three years ago, my interest in UFOs and extraterrestrials was rekindled. I began researching the subject in earnest and naturally came back to Cooper and his book. Specifically, I wanted to know what trouble he was stirring up lately. You can only imagine my shock when, after a brief search on the Internet, I came upon the news that Cooper had been killed by sheriff’s deputies during a raid on his home in Arizona in November 2001. The man who predicted several times over the years that he was going to be killed by law enforcement officials was dead … killed by law enforcement officials on his own property. According to conflicting reports, a SWAT team was positioned outside his residence to serve a warrant, allegedly either for aggravated assault or a tax issue. For the sake of our basic freedoms, we can only hope it wasn’t because he was late paying his taxes. The truth is, it was only a matter of time, and Cooper knew it. In March of 1999, he sent his family out of the United States for their security. He stated, “God bless my family. I love my wife and children more than life itself. Everything I do is for the future of all my children. They may not understand why I have sacrificed so much, why I am so dedicated to this work; but someday they will. I want them to know they are the most important people in my life, and how very, very much I love them.” In June 2001, he stated on his worldwide shortwave radio show ( Hour of the Time ) that the United States Government was going to commit a massive terrorist attack on its own people and blame it on Osama Bin Laden. Three months later, he became the Amazing Kreskin, so dead-on accurate with his prediction. It’s no wonder a 1995 White House memo labeled him “the most dangerous radio host in America.” Two weeks before his death, on a nighttime broadcast simulcast through a number of national radio stations, Cooper put together a press conference where he laid out the structure of this country’s shadow government, tracing its roots to the UFO/alien cover-ups that began in the 1940s and 1950s. He was very concise and explicit, naming names and documentation, offices and meetings from the Eisenhower through the Carter administrations. He literally ripped the lid off the world’s largest cover-up and told his audience that he would probably be killed for doing so. He was. Was Cooper a difficult man to get along with? Apparently so. Was he the victim of character assassination perpetrated by those who either refused to consider his allegations or simply debunked him? Most definitely. Did he exacerbate his situation by repeatedly saying that he would kill any law enforcement officers who tried to take him? Probably. But what are we left with? A whistleblower who said he was going to be killed for telling the truth about this country’s dark secrets and who was in fact killed in a way that can only be described as dubious. If that’s not a red flag, I don’t know what is. I didn’t know William Cooper. I’ve yet to meet anybody who knew him. But I know this: He was a brave individual with a strong conviction in his beliefs and the background to make his accusations credible, and he knew he was going to eventually pay for his whistleblowing with his life. He died “for the future of all [his] children,” and the least we can do for ours is listen to what he had to say, regardless of how unsettling that might be.

We live in a nation of habitual skeptics and cynics. With more and more people becoming disillusioned with our financial markets, government policies and overall leadership, it’s no wonder people don’t have much faith in the institutions that have defined our society for centuries. With so much disharmony in the physical world, people have turned inward to find answers, searching for more soulful, less conventional solutions to correct the ills of humanity. The truth is, as hardened and skeptical as people have become, the need for spiritual enlightenment has never been greater. But what does this mean for paranormal investigators, who find themselves on the front lines of this quest for the ultimate truth? Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the most dedicated researchers in the fields associated with “high strangeness.” “Tenacity” is the best way to describe how they go about their business, turning over every stone to find answers that never come easily. They are rarely, if ever, satisfied and constantly questioning the often ignorant explanations of others. They are driven, perhaps because they were touched by something out of the ordinary, or simply because they feel the primal desire to explore and search for answers that are often beyond human understanding. They also do their own research and take nothing at face value because they understand most people are motivated to do and say things based on fear, ego and insecurity. We’ve learned while working on the Stan Romanek documentary that almost every person who is witness to UFO phenomena is deemed either crazy or an outright liar, out to somehow secure fame and fortune. But when you actually take the time to do your own investigative work, you find that this is almost never the case. Most witnesses are down-to-earth individuals who would have preferred not to have had the frightening and life-altering experiences in the first place. In a book I co-authored with Patrick Burke, “ Ghost Soldiers of Gettysburg ,” we document our paranormal experiences on the famous — and very haunted — Civil War battlefield. Our goal: Present every piece of evidence in an objective manner. We include relevant details of the battle and explore theories that might explain what happened. We provide depth of information, all presented clearly and logically. Most importantly, we leave it up to the readers to draw their own conclusions. This should be the goal of every paranormal investigator, writer or producer who documents his or her research and shares it with others. After all, we can best serve our audience by providing a spark and encouraging them to search for their own answers. Unfortunately, with the explosion of paranormal “investigative” programming on television, many people now look at “ghost hunting” as an opportunity for fame, fortune and celebrity, which, in turn, further tarnishes what could and should be a viable and serious form of scientific exploration. When you weed through the wannabes, who are more concerned with melodramatic television moments, and get to the core scientific experts and conscientious investigators, you’ll find people who truly understand the value of investigating the unexplainable in an effort to seek truth. It’s why we do what we do. And you can rest assured that we will be looking for answers not spotlights.
