A busy day to say the least. After a hearty breakfast at The Waffle House (Jamie’s choice), we headed off to Open Minds TV’s studio to interview Alejandro Rojas, who has worked with Stan Romanek as a lead investigator on his case for more than five years. Alejandro was a wealth of information about Stan and his case; but the real value of the interview was Alejandro’s personal insights. A great interview that will enhance the film’s emotional core.
After spending over two hours with Alejandro, we had to high-tail it to the Phoenix MUFON presentation with Stan Romanek — the man of the hour for us. We were thrilled to see the 152-seat theater filled to the brim. I told Stan that the pressure was on because we wanted to capture his best presentation ever, and, I have to say, Mr. Romanek didn’t disappoint.
He had the crowd riveted for 3 1/2 hours. So much so, when Stan was told to wrap it up, the audience begged for more in lieu of a Q&A. Stan came up to me after the crowd filtered out and asked if his presentation met my expectations. “Exceeded,” was the answer.
After a group dinner, we headed out into the desert hills for a night skywatch. Nothing exciting UFO-wise, but the Milky Way was on display and it was glorious.
Looking forward to tomorrow. Stan will be recording a radio show segment with Alejandro Rojas at Open Minds TV, and we’ll be there to eavesdrop.
P.S. Big thanks to Stacey Wright and Jim Mann, Phoenix MUFON directors, for making us feel at home during our visit.
