to release ‘extraordinary: the stan romanek story’ on May 13, 2014

altPov.tvAfter nearly five years, our journey with “extraordinary: the stan romanek story” has led us to the announcement of the film’s release date:

May 13, 2014

We’re also excited to announce that the film will be released as a video-on-demand rental on a new website that launches on Friday, May 9:

What is Glad you asked. When we were investigating distribution options — which included traditional Hollywood distribution, Amazon’s CreateSpace, Vimeo, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and a variety of other channels — we wanted to find a landing spot that allowed us to engage viewers, create a buzz and keep the conversation going for an extended period of time. We wanted to find a place where people could gather and follow a film — and the ideas it presents — long after its release date.

How? By continuing to tell the story. We captured more than 60 hours of footage while shooting this film. The cut of the film being released on is a mere 105 minutes. That means we have another 3,495 minutes of stories to tell. While you probably don’t want to see footage of Stan and one of our production members running away from yellow jackets at Daniel’s Park, you probably do want to see what Dr. Stanislav O’Jack has to say about string theory … or what Stan has to say about organized religion … or how Lisa feels about being “the rock” for her family … or, oh, I don’t know, maybe the two-hour regression we filmed with Dr. Leo Sprinkle and Stan.

Do any of the distribution options above present the option for us to deliver all of this content in one location? No. They only provide the opportunity to deliver one-off products. The more we thought about the wealth of information we had captured, the more we realized we needed a single destination through which to share it.

Enter is a destination for alternative point of view content that is shared in a way that isn’t polarizing or confrontational. won’t be trying to advance an agenda or appeal to fringe audiences.’s goal, much like the goal with “extraordinary,” is to present alternative content in such a way that it’s accessible to everyone, regardless of your beliefs. It will encourage followers to watch, wonder, explore and challenge yourself and others with one simple question: What if this alternative point of view is true?

While our journey to deliver this particular film to the widest audience possible may be coming to an end, the conversation about what it all means is just beginning. What happens next is up to you. Share your experience. Talk about your beliefs. Open your mind to the possibility of an altPOV.

Seems like Stan’s story will never be available on VOD. People are waiting all over to stream the video and it still wont work. Looks like they are trying to sell as many DVD’s as they can before the will let this film be available on VOD.

“Seems like”, oh man, the assuming ones are the best. It didn’t work because they had problems with the payments going thru. I had the problem too, checked paypal if it went thru and it didnt, so i just repeated the payment and after that i could watch the stream.

Please! That any one would ask or expect j3Films to “give” even ONE free showing is SO unfair! They have sacrificed SO much already! Come on! Be supportive in all the ways you can by buying the DVD, and encouraging others to do the same and SPREAD the word! Many of us have waited a long time for this and from what we have seen thus far, I doubt we will be disappointed. And to those who “still don’t believe” and perhaps “free” information would help them to see the light…….I suggest to them, just stay in that dark closet of “I
don’t believe it.” Thank you j3Films!

I am SO excited! Every so often I’ve checked to see if there was any new info on release date & that’s what I did last night when I saw that it really IS happening in just a few more days! I’m so glad that ya’ll didn’t give up~ I don’t know what you’ve had to deal with, but can only imagine that it has been some crazy issshhh to cause a 5 year delay! His story & especially all of the proof is HUGE! Have you considered, some time after this release, maybe doing a 1 time free premier? Just thinkin that I know there are many others like myself that are happy to pay to see more of his story~because we BELIEVE, but to reach those who wont want to pay because they are skeptical? Those are the people who need to see this more than anyone because you can’t deny the kind of evidence he & Lisa have amassed! I told my hubby that he HAS to watch this with me bc out of all the stories I’ve listened to, Stan’s is one that I 100% believe to be true.
COME ON 5/13! I just know that ya’ll have something MONUMENTAL here! ~xoxoxoxoxo

Thanks for hanging in there, keeping the faith and checking in with us! By releasing the film on a website like, we have an opportunity to keep the story going because we can release more and more information about Stan, and the info will all appear in one location. There will be plenty of free videos to watch as we share more and more. We want to produce even more content that urges watch, wonder and challenge conventional beliefs.

      Only a few days more!

    Hello Jon,
Watched your interviews, very interesting. Will you be releasing all the story on a two or even three disk set? I do want the DVD for my video collection of which I have just about everything out there! I can’t help but think more has happened to keep this story from coming to light, has there been any threats to you or family members to keep you quiet? I hope it doesn’t get shut down, let’s face it you know they are trying to find a way to stop this from happening, good luck and God speed. Thank you Jon.

Thanks for your ongoing support! Right now, the only thing available on DVD is the film. We do, however, expect to release more content on in the coming weeks. One thing for sure will be a regression we filmed just for the doc. Given we only had 100 or so minutes, it would have been very difficult to introduce the some of the concepts presented in the regression. The goal of the doc is to reach a broad audience. If we introduced regressions and communication with other beings, we might as well have been moving from arithmetic to calculus. In due time. Down the road there may be DVDs with combined content, but right now, the site will allow us the opportunity to keep the story going.

Very big news! Question: will the movie be available for a fee or for free? If we have to pay, how much will it cost?

    Regards Dom
