extraordinary: the stan romanek story to Premiere at FLIFF!

We are extremely excited to announce that our long-awaited documentary — extraordinary: the Stan Romanek story — has been named an official selection of the 2013 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF). The premiere is set for Saturday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. at the festival’s showcase theatre – Cinema Paradiso – located in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

As those of you who have followed Stan Romanek’s story already know, he claims to be at the center of world’s most documented extraterrestrial contact story, and the multitude of evidence accumulated over the past decade has convinced thousands around the world his story is true. Our documentary film takes audiences on a journey through Stan’s past, present and future with one goal in mind: Help the world understand that no one knowingly chooses the challenges Stan and his family have endured over the past decade.

This project has taken us on a fascinating journey, and we’ve all learned a great deal in the process of making this film. We set out to document a controversial and emotional story, and our goal has always been to create a compelling and objective narrative about one man’s evolution through a life he didn’t choose. We are confident we’ve achieved our goal.

We also see this as a story of survival in the face of adversity, rather than just another film recounting eyewitness UFO experiences. Simply put, the film illustrates how an ordinary man and his family have been transformed by extraordinary experiences. Some viewers may not believe in life beyond planet Earth when they leave the theatre, but they will surely believe Stan does. The film’s intention is not to prove the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrials, but it does pose the question: What if this is all true?

extraordinary: the Stan Romanek story will also be screened at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Cinema Paradiso Hollywood; at 2 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Muvico Pompano; and at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Sunrise Civic Center. For ticket, festival and accommodation information, go to the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival website at www.fliff.com.

We will keep you updated on any additional official film festival selections and our long-term distribution plan for the documentary as events unfold. We want to thank all of you for being so patient and for your continued support. This has been an amazing journey … and one that is just beginning!

I saw the movie on YT and it was great. I gave the link to all 828 members of my UFO club, and they watched it, for free, on YT.

Peter, the film you saw on YouTube was not the feature-length documentary film from j3FILMS. There are several versions of Stan’s presentation from an IUFOC presentation that are labeled as “full documentary,” but it is completely unrelated. Glad you and your members fully enjoyed the doc that wasn’t “extraordinary: the stan romanek story.”

Sherry, it will not be released via Amazon at this time. We have agreed to launch it via a new web video-on-demand portal that focuses on alternative points of view.
