“extraordinary: the Stan Romanek story” trailer released

j3FILMS is thrilled to finally release the trailer for its upcoming documentary film, extraordinary: the Stan Romank story.

We started this journey of discovery with Stan and his family nearly three years ago. While it took a while to get to this point, the time has only intensified our passion for this project because it truly is a great story.

Everyone can relate to Stan and Lisa Romanek’s story, and not because of otherworldly experiences, but because they have endured numerous physical, emotional and spiritual challenges during their 12-year journey into the unknown and have learned how to cope, manage and overcome. It’s a story about survival in the face of adversity very few people in this world can relate to.

So, what’s next for the film? Continued post-production and submissions to film festivals throughout the world. Our goal is to reach the widest possible audience with this film because it’s a story that needs to be told because it’s fascinating and mind-boggling, yet it’s also humbling and genuinely human.

Stan is, indeed, extra ordianary and his story is truly extraordinary.

We hope you enjoy the trailer and share it with everyone you know via social media or by emailing the link. Awareness leads to knowledge and knowledge to enlightenment. We’re just trying to do our part to make you go “hmmm …”

Very anxious to see this documentary. Seems like you at
j3FILMS are really taking your time in order to reach the widest audience possible. Awesome! … Was wondering, since your journey with the Romanek family began 3 years ago. Has anyone on your staff been witness to any of the “visitors?”. Forgive me if you have posted on this before.
Thanks for all your hard work

      Steve,

We haven’t had anything close to a visit, but we have experienced some high strangeness when visiting Stan. Sounds, lights and even faucets turning on. We’ve had several Audrey calls, too. Strange indeed!

Are you people CRAZY? What makes you think that the makers of this documentary GIVE ANY of it away! They’ve worked hard and deserve to get EVERYTHING they can from it! We would only be so LUCKY to be able to benefit from the disclosure. Those of you that seem to think j3films owes anybody and everybody anything for nothing, needs to have their heads examined! I for one am GRATEFUL that j3films has done what they have!
Kudos to you and please know that many of us WILL continue to wait and no doubt, will be pleasantly surprised when all is said and done!

I’m sorry but your statement you made that follows doesn’t make much sense:

Not avaialable yet. And as much as we’d love to give this away, we need to cover expenses. This has been a three and half year journey for us and it hasn’t been inexpensive. Also, putting this out for free guarantees it will reach only the choir. We want to reach people who wouldn’t look for this. And we’re confident we can based on how the story is being told. Hang in there!

Those that DON’T believe, will not want to buy your documentary! I don’t know about the rest, but your comments about ” preaching to the choir ” talking about us experiencers is somewhat condescending! Especially when we are looking for something/anything to validate our experiences to family members or even friends whom question our state of mind! At first this was to get the story out, now it seems you want a great big payday! Which is it?

You’re making an awful lot of assumptions without knowing much about the people involved, the obstacles overcome, the commitment to getting this done right and the desire to reach as many people as possible. The “choir” is people who will see any film or read any book or visit any website because they are interested in the material. There are other people who would never go looking for a film, book or website on the subject but are open to it if it is presented in a light they find appealing. That has been our intention all along — reaching those who would be interested but would never look for it. That is accomplished through channels that most filmmakers in this genre do not consider because they want to present to the market who already believes. Our goals are bigger, which is one of the reasons this has taken so long. Getting rich has never been a goal, but covering expenses is and should be a goal on any project. We have investors to pay back as all films do.

Also, I’m not sure what you mean about being condescending to experiencers — we’re the exact opposite as our site clearly states and anyone who has worked with us can attest. Our goal is not to crank out carbon copies of what has already been done, our goal is to tell stories that clearly demonstrate that experiencers are people who are dealing with circumstances they never volunteered for. That’s admirable, and that’s why we’re doing what we’re doing. Stan’s film is as much about how he’s been affected by his experiences than just the experiences alone. The population will be better served by this kind of message than just another story about a person who got abducted and the circumstances surrounding that abudction. We’re more interested in telling the human side of they story. Hope that sheds some light.
