Partnership with The Orchard takes “Extraordinary” global

extraordinary the stan romanek story

When Jack Roth brought the idea of a documentary project about this guy in Colorado who had several abduction experiences, I wasn’t exactly champing at the bit to dive in. Seems like yesterday, but it was eight years ago this spring.

It didn’t take long to see the intrigue after Jack passed along a rabbit hole of links about Stan Romanek, which led to several phone calls, a handful of Audrey experiences,  visits to Loveland, Colorado, and recognition there was a worthy story to be told.

While Stan’s evidence was voluminous and jaw-dropping, I was just as fascinated by the emotional story and the struggle to overcome obstacles and constant ridicule. I kept asking myself “Who would willingly choose to be publicly chastised the way Stan is?” He’s just an ordinary guy facing extraordinary circumstances. This human element made Stan’s experiences accessible to everyone, and intensified our desire to reach the widest audience possible.

Now we can.

The Orchard Film DistributionAfter the trials and tribulations associated with Stan’s arrest in 2014, we saw the distribution door slam shut, forcing us into self-distribution mode. Fast forward to January  2017 and The Orchard‘s passionate desire to exclusively represent the film for global distribution pushed the door wipe open.

The journey has been long, challenging, frustrating, disappointing and enlightening. But we never gave up on the goal to reach the widest audience possible.

Today, that goal is a possibility with the worldwide launch of extraordinary: the stan romanek story. This film is now available on an expansive list of digital distribution platforms – iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video, XBox, Hulu, VUDU, PlayStation Video, Vimeo and on-demand video from a variety of cable providers. It’s now out there for all to see, if they so choose.

We understand this is a polarizing subject, and we know we’ll see our fair share of ridicule, too. We also know the film will open eyes, stimulate conversation and have many people wondering:

“What if this is all true?”

Extraordinary The Stan Romanek Story

Are we choosing unintentional paths intentionally?

j3FILMS decided to go left, down the road less traveled.

After wrapping up filming on the Stan Romanek , I realized that this story isn’t all about UFOs or alien abductions — although they are definitely a big part of it — but is more about humanity’s unmet potential. It also occurred to me that our goal at j3FILMS isn’t simply to make compelling films, because in order to do so, we have also committed to going down the path of most resistance.

You see, there are two types of people in the world — those who bury their heads in the sand and accept the crummy jobs, bad relationships and inept leadership in their lives because it’s the “easier” thing to do, and those who choose to question our current reality and reach out to others to work for the betterment of the human condition. Sometimes, doing the latter can bring about great frustration and rejection, yet we must remain steadfast because human beings have lost their way.

Unfortunately, we’ve been indoctrinated — by our religious, social and political institutions — into making choices based on ego, fear, selfishness and ignorance. As a race, we have forgotten how connected we are, not only to each other, but to everything in the cosmos. Only when we reach a critical mass of understanding and empowerment will we be able to take the next step in our evolution, thus creating a more utopian society based on love and compassion.

Stan Romanek’s story reveals that humanity has reached a crossroads and that we alone can determine the fate of our planet. All of us at j3FILMS have chosen to go down the road less traveled in order to share this critical message with the world … and we are honored to be doing so.

“High strangeness” in Stan Romanek case discussed on ARIRA Radio

On Sunday (Sept. 11), I was a guest on ARIRA Radio UFO Live FM. ARIRA — the Aerospace Research Investigation Reporting Agency — is dedicated to research focused on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and other anomalous activity related to UFOs. The topic of Sunday’s two-hour show: the Stan Romanek alien abduction case.

The show’s hosts, Richard Lang and Denise Stoner, were particularly interested in hearing me talk about some of the strange things that the principles of j3FILMS have experienced since becoming involved in this project. Specifically, they wanted to know about Stan Romanek’s abductions, strange phone calls and alien hybrid children. Suffice to say, I gave them everything they wanted and more.

After a brief introduction by Lang, I proceeded to talk — basically uninterrupted — for the entire two-hour block. What’s amazing about this is that the hosts didn’t want me to stop talking. At one point, I actually stopped and asked if they wanted to say anything, but they told me to please continue. They were riveted by what I had to say, which has become typical whenever we talk to people about the Romanek case and our plans for the documentary. According to Lang, it was the “fastest” show they have ever done. I guess that should be expected when UFOs, alien hybrid children, abductions and high strangeness are commonplace within a single case, and believe me, they are the norm with Stan Romanek.

You can listen to the show in its entirety here.

Intriguing abduction patterns emerge in Romanek story

One of the most interesting aspects of working on the Stan Romanek project is that — as we research our subject matter — we begin to gain a better understanding of a truly profound mystery. As we dig deeper into Stan’s case and the alien abduction phenomenon as a whole, we’re collecting an abundance of credible testimony and authoritative research that clarifies and validates the bizarre and life-changing experiences affecting thousands of people across the globe.

Budd Hopkins

The similarities in the encounters described by abductees can’t be ignored. Budd Hopkins, a well-respected researcher and New York Times bestselling author of three seminal books on the UFO abduction phenomenon, has personally investigated hundreds of cases and found that not only are the same things reported again and again, but they’re reported in the same sequence, which makes them very different from a fantasy or hallucination. Most compelling, he cites, is the fact that many of these cases are emerging from remote regions in Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, Argentina and New Guinea — places where people are essentially illiterate, isolated and unexposed to other cultural images of UFOs and aliens.

Stan isn’t from a remote village in Siberia, but his experiences fit the abduction pattern and include missing time, strange marks on his body, and blocked memories of being taken aboard a spacecraft and examined by alien-looking creatures. Other aspects of his case go well beyond the “textbook” abduction scenario. The implications of his experiences are staggering and will be explored in detail in the documentary.
